“Aaz Al Alhan Concert”

The Jordanian National Orchestra conducted by Mohammad Sidiq presents the renowned singer Ayman Tayseer in “Aaz Al Alhan” concert at Odeon Amphitheatre, at 7.30 PM, on September 29th, 2016.  “Aaz Al Alhan” is the title of the latest music production of Ayman Tayseer, which contains the best 11 songs that he has composed and sang during the past 20 years of his singing career. The concert’s program will bring back the audience to the golden days of two of greatest classical Arabic singers: Mohammed Abdel Wahhab and Abdel Halim Hafez. The traditional melodies are marvelously arranged for symphonic Orchestra to bring on stage an unforgettable concert.

Ayman Tayseer is a Jordanian artist, who was deeply fascinated with Classical Arabic singing. Tayseer began his career as a singer and a composer at early age and made his first public performance in 1993. Since then he committed himself to preserve and maintain classical Arabic heritage. He holds a Ph.D. in Musicology and Voice from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, Lebanon (2005). He is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design at Jordan University. He is the founder of the Jordanian Music Forum and the Director of the annual Jordanian Sufi Festival. In addition to his participation in numerous Arab and international musical events, he has won several awards, most notably for his work as a composer at the Petra Festival in 2000, as well as the King Abdullah II Award for Musical Creativity in 2001.  Dr. Tayseer will present, for the first time, four songs from “Aaz Al Alhan” latest album. Ya Okhta Maccata, which is a poem dedicated to Jerusalem, “Bat Khayl Nafsi” dedicated to peace, "Ana Al Awan" which takes about  importance of Art, and the last one “Ibtasim” which is dedicated to people suffering from chronic diseases like Cancer.
