- The Main gathering point for 42.195 Km, 21 km and 10 Km runners will be at Al Hussein Sports City.
- Parking will be available at Al Hussein Sports City (a designated area will be clearly marked).
- Buses will be available to shuttle the 42.195km and 21 km runners to the starting points. Runners will gather at Al Hussein Sports City.
- 10 km Fun Run participants will walk to the starting point from the gathering point.
- Buses will be available at the celebration area and the finish line to shuttle all participants back to the gathering point (Al Hussein Sports City) after the race, (available at the new Raghadan Complex / Service Complex).

- The Children’s Race will take place a week before the official marathon on Friday 17th of October 2014 at King Al Hussein Park.
- The finish line of the Children’s Race is located at the fifth pitch (football field/marathon village).
- All participants’ must bring their birth certificates in order to register.
- Special gifts and prizes will be available to the top 3 finishers (male/female) in each of the following categories:
- 6-8 years old
- 9-11 years old
- 12-14 years old

- Jordanians must show their Jordanian ID card, and Non-Jordanians residing in Jordan must show Residency Permit in order to register.
- Registration fees include, race entry, timing chip, race BIB number, an official race bag and a T-shirt.
- All participants must follow registration instructions in order to become official runners.
- Once the registration form is submitted, there will be no fee refunds for participants who decide not to take part in the event.
- The organizers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the race without any prior notification.

WHAT’S AFTER REGISTRATION? PICK-UP
- Each runner must collect his/her Running Packet between Sunda y 19th October and Thursday 23rd October (from 12:00 noon till 09:00p.m.) at the Marathon Village, which is located at King Al Hussein Park.
- Participants in the Children’s Race must collect their packet from the Run Jordan office in Shmei- sani before the 14th of October.
- Each participant must observe his/her race number upon receiv ing it, as each race has a specif- ic number, color and design. If you do need to change your number, please contact our offices immediately. We will NOT be able to change your number on the day of the race.
FINISH LINE AND CELEBRATION AREA
- All participants will receive a finisher’s medal at the finish line
- Entertainment (adults and kids), and refreshments will be available at the celebration area.

EVENT PROGRAM
- Registration and bib number pickups will be located at the Ma rathon Village from Sunday, October 19th until Thursday, October 23rd (from 12:00 noon until 9:00p.m.).
- The Awards Ceremony will take place on the same day of the Marathon (October 24th) at the Roman Amphitheater for the 42.195km, 21km, and 10km races.
- The Awards Ceremony for the Children's Race will take place at the Marathon Village, immediately after the race on Friday, October 17th, at King Al Hussein Park.
RACE ROUTES
42.195 KM Marathon Route. Starting time is 06:00a.m (24/10/2014)
- The 42 km race beings from the front of the main building of the Greater Amman Municipality, heading towards King Talal Street and passing by Al Husseini Mosque towards Al Hashimi Street.
- The runners will then head towards the Roman Amphitheater ont o Quraish Street and in the direc- tion towards Ali Bin Abi Taleb Street. They will continue their route towards Omar Matar Street, passing by the main gate of GAM.
- The runners will run in the direction of King Talal Street again, then onto Al Hashimi Street, arriving at Al Jaish Street in the direction of the New Raghadan Bus Sta tion.
- The runners will make a U-turn from the middle roundabout and cross the street to the other direction of Al Jaish Street, passing by the Roman Amphitheatre four times, back and forth.
- After the fourth time, the runners will arrive at their finish ing point in front of the Amphitheatre.
21 KM Race Route. Starting time is at 07:30a.m (24/10/2014)
- The 21km race begins from Al-Jayesh Street, under Al-Dukhan B ridge heading towards Hashemite Square.
- The runners will then pass by Hashemite Square and continue t owards Quraysh Street.
- From Quraysh Street, runners will continue on towards Ali Abi Ibee Talib Street and from there make a U-turn at the end of the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM ) building.
- Runners will continue towards Omar Matr Street passing by GAM from the main gate, continuing towards King Talal Street.
- From King Talal Street, runners continue to Hashemite Street.
- From Hashemite Street, runners continue to Al-Jayesh Street, towards the new Raghdan Bus Station, going in the opposite direction of traffic.
- Runners will then make a U-turn at the island, going on the o pposite side of Al-Jayesh Street, then continuing past the front of the Roman Amphitheatre for another loop. At the end of the second lap, runners will enter the finish area in bedside of the Roman Amphitheatre.
10 KM Race Route. Starting time is 09:00a.m (24/10/2014)
- The 10km race begins on the opposite side of Regency Palace Hotel, on Queen Alia Street, going towards Dakhlea Circle.
- From Dakhlea Circle, runners continue to Queen Noor Street, towards 4th Circle).
- From Dakhlea Circle, runners continue to Queen Noor Street, towards 4th Circle).
- From the 4th Circle, runners will continue to Zahran Street a nd then make a right turn at the first road, continuing towards Khalidee Hospital.
- Runners will then take the first right going towards a small c ircle (which leads to the 4th Circle). From here, runners will go directly to Aqba bin Nafea Street, which will take them to the Wadee Abdoun traffic lights.
- Runners will go left (in the opposite direction of traffic) to wards Princess Bassma Street, towards Wadee Abdoun, where they will continue running under Abdoun Bridge.
Children’s Race Route. Starting time is 09:00a.m (17/10/2014)
- Children will gather for the race opposite to the 5th footbal l pitch (field). Cars will enter from the exit gate, which is across from the visitors entrance of Medical Cit y Hospital.
- The race will start in front of the 5th football pitch (field) inside King Hussein Park (going in the opposite direction of traffic).
- After the start, runners will go up a long incline and continue towards King Hussein Mosque.
- Runners will go past King Hussein Mosque (the mosque will be on the right) and continue on the path that will lead past the Children’s Museum and the Automobile Museum (also on the right side), towards the employees entrance.
- From there, runners will descend down a hill towards the car exit and go towards the entrance gate.
- Runners will continue past the parking lot (on the left) to t he finish line, which is across from the 5th football pitch (field).
