About John

John is a founding partner and president of CultureSync LLC, a consulting firm that focuses on Leadership, Strategy, Cultural Change, and Executive Couching. 

John is the co-author of The Coaching Revolution, a book presenting the author's best practices in the realm of executive coaching. 

John is nationally recognized as a senior teacher, coach, and program leader. Clients of his coaching practice have been featured on all major television networks and in the Wall Street Journal. 

John is a part of the leadership development team at Sierra Health Foundation and is on faculty at Collier's University, CB Richard Ellis University, and the California Leadership Institute.  

​25th of June: The Samurai Game! For the First Time in the Middle East!

Although The Samurai Game is world famous, it has never been delivered in the Middle East! 

John and his colleague Lawrence John Warry are 2 of a few people in the world who are certified to deliver ​The Samurai Game - which is an intense, life-altering, transformational exercise. 

The workshop brings a group of people together in a new world (the world of the ancient feuding samurai) wherein the group divides into two armies and does battle until one army is clearly defeated.

At that point, there are some dramatic decisions to be made by the leaders of the armies! Battles of the Samurai Game® are non-violent and involve challenges in balance, skill and sometimes aesthetic prowess.

​When the war is over, participants step back in to the 21st century and evaluate their realizations and an opportunity for sharing/feedback about their realizations is provided.

​About Lawrence John Warry

Lawrence Warry is an officially certified Samurai Game® facilitator. Established in the Netherlands since March 2013, Lawrence has been offering public and corporate Samurai Game® workshops internationally in The United Kingdom, Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Switzerland.

As an Aikido teacher and a Samurai Game® facilitator, Lawrence has traveled extensively around the world and applied himself to a multitude of communities. In February 2017, Lawrence  delivered a TEDx talk to the community of Targu Mures, Romania, titled "Surrender for Effective Leadership" (TEDx talk link) in which he explained a leadership model based on his martial arts background.

With a lengthy background as a martial arts instructor, namely the martial art of Aikido, in which he is a 5th dan instructor and together with his corporate experience in the European Patent Office, Lawrence recognizes the need for a healthy body and mind in order to be part of a healthy organization.

Lawrence developed techniques to build win-win management/employee solutions. Lawrence uses this experience together with his facilitator training to help build positive drive, effective teams, improve emotional intelligence and find harmony in people's lives for employees and managers alike.
