Under the Patronage of her Excellency Sharifa Nofa Bint Nasser, The Kingdom of Childhood Initiative for Holistic Learning organizes the first Waldorf Teacher Training Workshop in Jordan and the Arab region , featuring a day-long Workshop at Wild Jordan Centre with our highly esteemed guests Dr.Torin M.Finser leading Waldorf Educator, Author, Holistic Education Consultant and former Chairman of the Department of Education at Antioch University, New England & Karine Finser Inspirational Painter and Mentor of Waldorf Teachers at Antioch in New Hampshire, the US. 

The workshop will consist of a morning session led by Dr.Finser on "Teaching to the Evolving Consciousness of the Child", wherein Dr.Finser will guide participants into how the Waldorf curriculum is crafted to meet the child at every developmental stage. Participants will gain key insights on how to customize their teaching so that it is rendered developmentally and culturally appropriate. The afternoon session will be conducted by Karine Finser on “Compassion: Preparing for the Future of Education”, and will be followed by a hands-on artistic workshop addressing the use of Art as an expressive, curative instrument pertaining to the pedagogical toolbox of a multidisciplinary teacher.

Workshop Fees: 70 Jordanian Dinars ( Inclusive of a coffee break, lunch, and the Arabic Edition of Dr.Finser’s phenomenal book “School as a Journey”)
