The National Center for Culture & Arts (NCCA) of King Hussein Foundation is proud to host the 13th edition of the Amman Contemporary Dance Festival (ACDF) which falls in line with its mission to promote cultural exchange and enhance the theater and dance movements in Jordan in collaboration with The National Gallery of Fine Arts.

ACDF is an annual festival initiated in 2009 and invites cutting-edge performances by renowned choreographers and companies that are deemed inspiring, creative and thought-provoking. The ACDF introduces Jordanian audiences to the aesthetics of contemporary dance and promotes dance as a tool for communication and addressing contemporary social issues.

ACDF is held within the frame work of MASAHAT Dance Network which comprises of three organizations; Maqamat Theatre in Beirut; Sareyyet Ramallah in Palestine and the National Centre for Culture and Arts in Jordan.

The aim of ACDF is to establish a contemporary dance network and build strong and effective regional partnerships between cultural and artistic associations. It also provides local dancers through the holding of various workshops, the opportunity to interact with international choreographers and develop their technique and performance skills.
